Quintax offers an optional Flip-Pod vacuum hold-down System that utilizes a vacuum table and a grid of "pods" fitted into the table surface to provide vacuum in the desired areas to hold wood, plastic or non-ferrous metal parts for trimming or finishing. The grid of "pods" fitted into the pod panel surface are activated by pulling a flush pod out of the table surface (by hand no - tools required) and flipping it over to provide an elevated vacuum stand-off to hold the part. The pattern or areas needed for each part is infinantly adjustable to provide vacuum in the desired areas quickly and wasting "spoil boards" or other materials. The benefits are time savings and cost reduction.
